Good summary, it’s been heading this way ever since G launched G+ but it’s amazing how it can help SEO, especially if u can virally get yourself into circles!!

I am not ready to jump on board of how important Google+ is to actual SEO. If anything it is only important to Google on mining even more data on user behavior. This can be a good or bad thing for pages, we will see. But, if anything the new search is just annoying as can be until I shut of the “social search”.

The profile alone has nice link opportunities in the about section as well as the blog roll column. Often I bump into profiles like this where these areas are left completely blank.

Good post! It’s going to be interesting to see how businesses adopt Google+. At the moment I don’t think there are any specific ‘business pages’ like Facebook, but I guess that will be the next step! Google seem to be putting a lot more effort into this recently…so it looks like it’s here to stay!

Real nice article Lyndon. Google+ is fast becoming an important SEO tool to have in a website’s arsenal. Google need to push this to keep it alive or it will fail like Google Buzz did
