Interesting tool, but still doesn’t help at all for the smaller guys. Why not allow for a search that takes the data out and just shows the rank for the searched user? Or even a comparable chart.

StumbleUpon is one of the most progressive social bookmarking site. If you are much on the social media and web 2.0 traffic and stuff, then this will do good for you and your website.

The implementation of ranks in StumbleUpon will be a disaster. It will become the next digg where everyone will try to abuse it. Some things are best left untouched. StumbleUpon greatest feature is that it has no ranking which separates itself from digg. By implementing rank, it is soon a matter of time before it becomes a paid profession where people will pay these stumblers to stumble.

Great idea, but the font looks really ugly, almost broken if it’s not anti-aliased. So 50% of users will see it that way.

Nice STATS, http://www.howtostumble.com/ you can find here a widget than ranks Stumblers according to the number of fans that they have, any user has the ability to add a new Stumbler

I don’t like this. With all due respect, some Diggers are trying to game StumbleUpon in the same way that they’ve gamed Digg.

I like SU because it’s nothing like Digg. I wish people would let it be.

With regards to the trademark / domain issue, the word stumble is just a normal verb, surely that cannot be trademarked can it?

I too have come across this site, I know it had a few teething problems to start with but I do agree its a nice site. To be honest I would prefer it if there were more than the top 100. It would be nice to find out who ranks where out of the lot!

I think they will encounter some problems regarding the name as you mentioned plus the use of the stumble logo is a law suit waiting to happen.
