I went and tried to find it as well. Ya know, if somebody was a serious SEO company they would definately not employ this tactic. Since I responded to the email I hope I don’t get spammed now.

God I hate sleaze bags. It makes the rest of us that are doing good SEO stuff all look bad. I foud tis website by Googling the name in the email as well.

That’s very interesting. I arrive to your forum searching for the webpage of this SEO Co. in order to see if they are serious. I received it in Paraguay.

But yes, it’s the typical “new style of mail looking to be serious in order to catch the people that reject spam”
Really, the new style is very good. A serious people that make a serious offer. But God !Never let us to fall in this tricks !

The problem with these ‘offerings’ is that they just contribute to the whole sleaze bucket mindset that some people have about seo or sem or whatever you want to call it today!

They suck with a captital S, but then, anyone who buys from an unsolicited piece of spam needs a good kick in the cobblers anyway!

Sorry to hear that Sarah. I doubt there is much you can do except protest your innocence. I am sure these guys have covered their tracks and are simply collecting personal info.

My advice is not to give them any.

My buissiness recieved the same email yesterday morning. The most troubling part is that they are using my name; although they are not using my address, they are using the city I originally lived in.

I’m fairly certain this is a scam, and that there is no one by my name living in that area. But I’m uncertain what to do about it. Suggestions?
